The micro-volume spectrophotometer is a full-spectrum UV-VIS spectrophotometer in the range of 190-900 nm which is suitable for standard cuvettes and low volume samples measurements (1-2 μl). For highly concentrated samples it does not need any dilution. The micro-volume sample plate is not disposable and can be wiped and used again after a test which lowers the laboratory test expenses.

Biomolecular assays with low sample size eliminates dilution requirement for high concentrated analytes. Nucleic acid (RNA, DNA) and protein purity  assessments and quantifications can be done, using its special micro volume plate in which the low volume of the analyte as low as 2μl is only needed. This instrument enable the users to measure absorptions at 260, 280 and 230 nm and absorbance ratio of 260/280 and 260/230 for microvolume samples. The phases of bacteria growth can also be studied by OD measurement at 600 nm over time.

Quick measurement

Ultraviolet and visible (UV-Vis) absorption spectroscopy measurement can be done with a standard cuvette and also a  spesical micro volume plate designed for this instrument. Moreover, the full spectrum of analyte in wavelength range between 190 and 900 nm can be achieved in less than 1 ms. Optical density (OD) measurement at any wavelength in 1 nm increments at this range can also be made in less than 1 ms.

User-friendly software with QC analysis

The software guides the user step by step through testing procedures and helps user with error corrections warnings. In order to simplify data analysis, this software offers a full spectrum display and a table of data in Microsoft excel and txt format. Moreover, this instrument is capable of QC data collection and drawing of related graphs.

Advanced signal processing for higher accuracy

2048 ccd array detector provides a collection of large number of data for each sample. Advanced signal processing algorithm eliminates reading errors. Implementation of double beam algorithm compensates for light source fluctuations. By use of UV range data processing, the user can perform assays without any reagents for some parameters.

LSPR Nanosensing assays based on gold nanoparticles

Performing LSPR-based nano biosensing assays based on unique properties of gold nanoparticles, in different areas of industry and diagnostic immunity, genetics, and biochemistry are possible.

Endpoint, fixed time and kinetics analysis

A user can define a test and measure OD over the period of time. The measurement results are displayed in a graph. There is also a choice of three reading modes: Endpoint, fixed time and kinetics depending on user defined test.

Bacteria growth study

The phases of bacteria growth can be studied by OD measurement at 600 nm over time.
